It was another chilly morning with temperatures at 4 am in the mid to upper teens across north central Massachusetts into southern New Hampshire, ranging to around 30 degrees on Cape Cod and the islands. A warm front across southern New York and Long Island early this morning will move north of the region today. This will bring a few flurries or sprinkles, mainly across inland areas this morning. Then, southwest winds will develop, bringing milder temperatures. Readings will rise to the 40s, except for some upper 30s lingering across western areas into southern New Hampshire. As the front moves north of the region tonight, skies will become partly cloudy. The front will stall across central New England by early Thursday, while another weak low moves along it. More clouds will move back into the area on Thursday. Temperatures will be warmer, with readings rising to the upper 40s to mid 50s. The outlook for Friday calls for partly sunny skies and continued mild temperatures. === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 6-Mar-2002 06:25 EST === 7am: 23009kt P6sm Ovc050; Becmg 9-11am: 23012g22kt 3pm: 22014g24kt P6sm Sct050 Bkn120 8pm: 23014kt P6sm Sct120; Becmg 0-2am: 23010kt
