Clouds will increase as the day progresses in advance of the system with seasonably cold temperatures, mostly in the upper 30s to mid 40s expected. Periods of light snow or snow showers will develop tonight, with some rain likely mixed in on the Cape and islands. Snow showers are likely to linger into the first part of Saturday in the west, followed by clearing later in the afternoon.
