At 4 am, temperatures ranged from 14 degrees at orange Massachusetts, to 32 degrees at Block Island and Nantucket. Some clouds will brush the region today, as low pressure moves from the Carolina coast, to well south and east of Georges Bank. Highs will near 40 in most places. High pressure will build into the region tonight and Friday, providing clear weather. Lows tonight will be in the teens and 20s, with highs Friday in the 30s. Dry weather will continue Saturday. Another storm system will move off the Carolina coast Sunday evening, then head northeast.
