It also allowed for the gusty west winds of yesterday afternoon and evening to diminish. Temperatures early this morning were in the 30s. The high will move quickly out to sea today, as low pressure moves into the eastern Great Lakes by this evening. After a sunny start to the day, clouds will be on the increase this afternoon. A shower or a few sprinkles could reach western New England by days end. Look for temperatures to reach the lower to middle 50s. Low pressure across the eastern Great Lakes this evening, will move across northern New England tonight and Wednesday. The cold front trailing this low, will be across eastern New York state Wednesday morning, and will move slowly across southern New England during the day. Ahead of the front moisture will be on the increase as a stiff southerly winds develops. There is a chance for a few scattered showers again tonight, mainly western New England, and a good chance of shower across all of southern New England Wednesday. It will be on the mild side tonight with lows in the 40s. Highs on Wednesday will be in the 50s to near 60.
